On 10-18-07 I came home from work on a beautiful sunny yet stormy day. The sun was glaring through dark clouds and the fall
leaves were vibrant everywhere. I walked out on our porch and looked up to see this beautiful rainbow in the below pictures. The
rainbow was far more bright in color than these pictures represent and in a moment I felt so incredibly lucky to be here. We are
working hard to build this place to be what we want and each year it gets more beautiful here. In this moment, as sappy as it may
sound, the
song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" came to mind. How fitting. In the song is the verse...
"Somewhere Over The Rainbow Skies Are Blue. And Dreams That You Dare To Dream Really Do Come True".
Granted in the real world it is taking hard work but that phrase was ever so fitting in this moment as that is how it is here.
Dreams are coming true as this rainbow stretches over our property.
Hello & Welcome To RHYTHMIC ACRES
For the animal shall not
be measured by man. In a
world older and more
complete than ours they
move finished and
complete, gifted with
extensions of the senses
we have lost or never
attained, living by voices
we shall never hear. They
are not brethren, they are
not underlings; they are
other nations caught with
ourselves in the net of
life and time, fellow
prisoners in the splendour
and travail of the earth.
