| 339 W. Devereaux Lake Rd Indian River, MI 49749 Kristi.Morton@ymail.com NOTE: Please make ALL initial inquires by email. Final arrangements may be made and confirmed by phone if need be. ALL INQUIRIES MUST BE MADE VIA EMAIL for now due to our busy schedules...meaning please ask questions etc by email. Please don't send an email asking me to call you. I am very sorry but I get tons of these and just cannot manage calling people routinely answering goat questions due to our crazy full time work schedules as well as at home work schedules. Just trying to be honest even though I realize it may not be super convienient. If you send an email saying call me and I don't...I tried to explain this here. I can manage answering questions via email as can do so from work but work in cubicles so cannot be "talking goats" on the phone. This is a hobby of mine and in order to keep it enjoyable I just have found that returning 12 calls a week ruined it for me so have modified to this to make it more manageable. It would only be one call for you but 12 plus for me hence why I had to do this. DUE TO OCTOBER THRU DECEMBER BEING SLOW FOR SALES AND ALL AND DUE TO THE HOLIDAY'S I'LL TRY TO RESPOND TO EMAILS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK BUT AT LATEST WILL DO SO ON WEEKENDS. DURING BREEDING SEASON I'LL BE CHECKING EMAILS DAILY ETC. Detailed Directions: Please Remember By Appointment ONLY: Mapquest.com or Randmcnally.com should get you to Devereaux Lake Rd by plugging in our address 339 W. Devereaux Lake Rd, Indian River, MI 49749. Once on Devereaux Lake Rd watch for Jewell Rd (to use Jewell Rd as a road marker). When you see Jewell Rd DO NOT turn on it. Instead turn into the sandy un-marked drive across from it. Go up the sandy drive and the first driveway on your right is ours and you will see a small 339 sign at the end of it. Turn right into it and follow it around to the house as it is a long drive. You're on the right driveway if you see green fence posts as your driving along. If a big white Pyrenees comes running across the field...you have the right drive! :) He won't come through the fence though. :) ALL of our goats for sale are always listed on the Goats: 4-Sale & Expecting page. I "do" keep the site very up to date and update it nightly usually or within 48 hours always. If it isn't listed....we don't have it. :) Also please remember that this is a hobby for us. If there is a goat you'd like to come see we will try to set up a time that works ASAP but remember we both work full time jobs (8:30-5 at work & 5-7:30 feeding/caring for animals) and so our weekends are our only days off to get things done such as picking up hay, supplies, etc. We happily make room for appointments but please understand a call late on a Friday night to see goats the next morning may not be able to be met as often we too have plans. Additionally so that we do sometimes have a day off we will now only schedule one weekend day to show goats each weekend. So if someone scheduled prior for that weekend then that same day would be open to you. Otherwise will try to accommodate on the other day if I can. Additionally before purchasing a goat or considering purchasing one please do the basic research on their needs. There are many online articles as well as books available. We are happy to then fill you in with any other questions you may have. I just have concerns about purchasers who have done no research and want to buy a goat as some preparation is necessary. :) Here is one of many links online with a good overview: http://www.olsonacres.com/Goat%20Care.htm SORRY. We do NOT do just farm tours as are just too busy. Happy to show buyers around when they are here to pick up goats but I'm afraid that since we work full time plus run this place...just don't have time for other type visits. |
