Our
VETERINARIANS
Our horses and goats are always UTD
on shots and care. We would not have it
any other way. When you come to meet
them you'll find them all to have
gleaming coats, great body weight, and
healthy well cared for hooves.

If you are looking to purchase from us
or if we are looking to purchase from
you feel free to contact our vets and
ask about us or our horses.

NOTE: Please only inquire with them if
you are very serious about a purchase
or if we are in the process of a purchase
as they are busy and we don't want
non-serious calls badgering them. See
etails under each vet.
NOTE: We love the vets at each of these clinics and have
found them to be really excellent and great to work with.
Each has an area they are stronger in from our perspective
hence why we use each for different things and also due to
the fact of their locations as some are further from us then
others.

Maple River Animal Clinic Of Alanson

This clinic has taken me some time to get in there as they
weren't taking new patients until late 2008. They have a
reputation as having a great deal of experience in
specializing in goats so they will now be my primary goat vet.

Animal Medical Clinic Of Cheboygan

This is the clinic closest to our home and we use this clinic
for basic  shots/injuries/emergencies/etc for all of the
animals. I have been a client of theirs since moving to the
area in 2004.

I have spoke to this clinic and they have made a notation in
their computer that my records are free to discuss/divulge
with anyone.

Dr. Dennis Paull
(Dr. Paull comes out most often. Dr. Ward has been to see our animals
as well).

Jenson's Animal Clinic Of Petoskey

We have been using this vet primarily for breeding and
mare related issues or emergencies that require surgery etc
as their clinic has a lot of equipment our smaller clinics do
not.

I spoke with their office and their policy is that they will not
make a notation in their computer in terms of being open to
the public and that I must apparently call them on a case by
case type basis. If you would like to speak to them about me
just let me know and I'll call them to verify it is fine.

Maple River Animal Clinic Of Alanson

This clinic has taken me some time to get in there as they
weren't taking new patients until late 2008. They have a
reputation as having a great deal of experience in
specializing in goats so I will utilize them regarding goat
issues whenever I can. To date they have dealt with a
pregnant goat of mine, did CAE testing for me, and have
been assisting me with nutritional advice etc.

Our Farrier  was John Cowell  (a great
guy) though Matt has now taken over
trimming their hooves after receiving
instruction from another farrier.

I'll only be giving out John's contact
email when requested as his business
phone is also his home phone. I should
note now though that it has been some
time since we've had him out since
Matt has been doing the trims for the
last year or so and does a great job.
